Our Story

Fine Living Studios has spent the last six years filming and photographing weddings from Hawaii to Maine, Seattle to the Dominican Republic. Although California will always be home, Fine Living Studios has been happy to serve Philadelphia, PA, and the surrounding area since 2020.

Founded in 2017 by Sebastian Hernandez, Fine Living Studios was inspired by the idea of applying his knowledge working in the fashion and film industries of Los Angeles to the world of wedding photography and cinematography. Seeing a need and opportunity to bring editorial-style photography and cinematic videography into an industry that felt too cookie-cutter was the launching point, and we haven’t looked back since.

One of the main things you’ll notice about our style is the control of lighting in all of the different scenarios that we’re faced with. Our knowledge of lighting techniques grants us the opportunity to photograph with more detail and accurate color; indoors or even at night. Although the natural sun is beautiful, it can also be limiting. Sometimes the best photo opportunity isn’t in the best natural light, and having the control to create and manipulate lighting grants us the ability to capture and create anywhere and at any time.

We started as filmmakers. Learning cinematic techniques on film sets taught us how to expose video correctly. How important lighting and audio are. And how storytelling is an art. We are cinematic storytellers. Filmmakers in every sense of the word. For weddings, we wanted to bring that knowledge to not only capture your wedding but also create a timeless film for you and your loved ones to watch over and over again.

It takes a team and Fine Living Studios has been attracting and gathering top talent to create the best team in the wedding industry. Our entire team is cross-trained in all aspects of our industry, from lighting to audio, photography, and videography. Our collective knowledge spans decades in the camera industry.
